August Newsletter

We are nearing the end of winter now, so take any chance you can to snuggle in bed with a book!

The Royal Queensland Show is on this month and what a great opportunity to show city children what life is like in the country! We have books on animals such as the Farm Animals Series (Sheep, HorsePig and Cow), Lamb to Sheep, Egg to Chicken, Farmer Duck, Do Cows Have Kittens?, Ducks, and of course the classic Old MacDonald Had a Farm! Books to show working on a farm could include Dog on a Digger, Duck on a Tractor, My Farm, Farm Machines and Farmer John's Tractor. Novels to focus on could be The Sheep Pig, Palomino Pony Steals the Show, Juliet Nearly a Vet - Farm FriendsA Year on the Farm, Clementine Rose and the Farm Fiasco, or Hee Haw Hooray Mudpuddle Farm.

Our sales reps would love to visit your school, so give us a call today on (07) 3229 9935 to make an appointment! Nikki and Phillip would love to see you and chat about the latest books on our shelves.

With Book Week approaching, have you considered building up your library without touching your budget by having a Grandparents or Extended Family day? We can set up a stall for visitors to buy books to donate to your library. For more details contact Phillip (0411 477 268) or Nikki (0411 474 526).
