Can you invoice my school or service?

We certainly can invoice your school or service (personal orders, however, require payment up front by credit card, cheque, cash or money order). Simply enter an Order Number at the checkout page. Order Numbers can be a name or anything you wish to use.

Can I return books if I find they're not suitable?

Yes, but they must be returned within 14 days of receipt of goods, in saleable condition, accompanied by the original sales receipt. CDs and DVDs are exceptions to this rule, and are sold on firm sale.

How much do you charge for delivery?

Regular Freight
Orders under $200: $12 delivery
Orders between $200 and $400: $16 delivery
Orders between $400 and $750: $20 delivery
Orders between $750 and $1000: $25 delivery
Orders over $1000: FREE DELIVERY

Express Post
Please note we do not Express Post any Big Books nor can we Express Post any parcels to the Northern Territory.
Express post delivery up to 3kg: $18
Express post delivery 3-5kg: $27

International shipping
If your order is to be delivered to an address outside Australia, a member of The Book Garden team will contact you upon receipt of your order to advise you of freight charges.

Am I able to use a Gift Voucher on the website?

Certainly! If your voucher covers the cost of your order, put the number of the voucher as an order number. If not, put in your credit card details and put your voucher number next to your name.

I can't find the book I'm looking for on The Book Garden website - can I still order it?

Absolutely! If it's still in print we should be able to order it for you - if it isn't, we can search for secondhand copies. Simply contact us so we can search for the book for you.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

That depends. If the books are in stock, they are posted the same day. If we have to order the books, it could take 2-3weeks. If the supplier does not have stock in Australia, it could take up to 3 months. You will be given an indication of how long your books will take to arrive once you have placed your order.

Which credit cards do you accept, and when will my card be charged?

We accept Visa and Mastercard. Your credit card will be charged for the books when we send them to you. If there are backorders, they will be charged separately.

Do you have any sales representatives who could visit my early childhood centre/school?

Yes we do. Please contact us to make an appointment for one of our representatives to visit your school or service. Even if you are not in these areas, we do travel around according to demand so please let us know if your organisation would like a visit and we can see what we can do!

I don't have credit card - how can I pay?

We also accept cheques or money orders (payable to The Book Garden). When the payment has been received, your books will be posted to you.
